Review three asset types together

A fiction or drama campaign may draw on owned footage, AI-generated material and creator submissions. TikTok’s October 6 announcement describes Smart+ Creative Selection as a way to bring those three asset types into an advertiser approval workflow.

The announcement also expands Business MCP connections with AI platforms for advertising planning and management. It does not compare how well the different asset types convert viewers or readers.

Check access before changing the workflow

An advertising lead can first check whether the tools are available in the relevant account. If they are, review the three asset types against the same creative brief. Our editorial suggestion is to judge whether each asset conveys the story’s conflict and a reason to watch; a common approval screen cannot make that decision for the team.

This article uses the announcement checked on October 13. Regional and account-level availability was not independently verified, so the announcement does not establish access for every creator.
