    Recently published: September AI-drama analysis

Published October 12; the data covers September and classifies formats within a top-100 sample.

Why it matters: Producers can shortlist comparable references and counterexamples; format counts alone do not identify profitable production routes.

English-language sample / Short drama / Adaptation · Original date unknown · Editorial coding of existing third-party snapshots

Analysis: title signals depend on chart definitions

October 4–11 weekly data and a cumulative chart labeled October 12 give different keyword densities in two 40-title samples.

Why it matters: Adaptation researchers can broaden references; genre profitability remains unknown until stories and comparable outcomes are examined.

China · One account / Story craft · Original date unknown · Reused public observations and editorial hypothesis

Creator observation: keep ordinary outcomes in view

Like counts were frozen October 12; dates were supplemented October 13. The 47-post sample does not establish continuous improvement.

Why it matters: Scriptwriters can compare costs involving money, time and skills against weaker examples; method effectiveness remains untested.

Research revisit: separate dimensions of story diversity

Submitted October 5 and revised October 6, DivLM studies genre, tone, style and entity variation; this is not a new paper today.

Why it matters: Story developers can borrow comparison dimensions without treating them as grounds for training a model or predicting serial performance.

Case study: why a reward leaves pressure alive

Eight chapters across two English novels distinguish eligibility, recognition and safe control.

Why it matters: Record the protagonist’s action separately from help, and identify the next concrete problem.

Case study: relationship escalation across three Lycan episodes

A visual-sampling study examines information gaps, relationship reactions and identity reveals; see the archive for exact coverage.

Why it matters: When shortening scenes, retain the cause of a consequence rather than only humiliation, retaliation and a crown.

Choose references close to the intended platform

The material assembled for this October 13 issue is useful for selecting screen references. DataEye’s September analysis, published October 12, counts 43 3D titles and 57 photorealistic AI dramas in Douyin’s top 100; Hongguo’s 100 are all classified as 3D. Begin with the planned distribution environment, then examine how comparable works tell their stories.

Douyin’s monthly added views and Hongguo’s peak heat are different measures, and charted-title counts are not market shares. The linked format analysis explains the distinction while retaining the September period.

Keep a counterexample when developing a premise

Two 40-title English-language chart samples give different signals for wolf stories and marriage or workplace identity reversals. Select a reference from each and examine what a changed identity lets a character do. Title counts alone do not establish which direction earns more.

The 47-post 人生副本 observation places four five-figure-like practical choices beside similar hundred-like examples. Before writing about money, rest or skills, compare both outcomes and revisit the proposed conflict. These are analyses of existing snapshots, not events newly occurring on October 13.

Two case studies for openings and shorter scenes

The eight-chapter fiction study is useful when revising an opening. In chapter 4 of Billionaire’s Match, the heroine refuses to sign while outside help resolves the immediate coercion. Recording those separately clarifies what she can do after help arrives. Eight chapters across two books cannot establish a universal reward frequency.

For runtime decisions, the Lycan archive samples three episodes visually with sound muted. Its roughly 10:41 span moves through relationship betrayal, a contested crown and an identity response. Before cutting background or reactions, check whether the next action still makes sense. Only inspected samples support the reading; it is not a whole-series review.

Related background includes a reader survey, YouTube disclosure guidance, TikTok’s tool introduction and the DivLM abstract. They retain their original dates and evidence limits, offering different ways to examine a book description, disclosure decision, topic or set of story candidates.

Method & limitations

Reused existing public-source research and checked dates and sample definitions; targeted rechecks covered the selected survey and attributed monthly analysis.

Periods, denominators and metrics differ across sources. Unreadable aggregate claims, private operating material and third-party images are excluded.
